A collection that is all about family:

Deanna P. Tait Glover began to realize that her home could no longer hold the vast array of  items she had collected from her own family and from the families of other long-time Kanab residents, she began to look for a place to establish a museum that could be enjoyed by a larger audience.  At that time the Heritage Board included Deanna and four other women who somehow succeeded in getting the City of Kanab to support the establishment of a museum in Kanab's old library. Once a space was found, the collection grew, thanks to donations and loans from individuals, families and groups like the Daughters of Utah Pioneers and the Sons of Utah Pioneers. In addition, some items had been in the Heritage House, another historic property owned by the city. Over the years, many people have enjoyed the ever-growing exhibits and have come looking for information about their ancestors. Please be sure to stop in to discover Kanab's history!
